Player feedback for developers
Private, one-way feedback from players to a game's developer: how it works for players and developers, and the safety rules.
When a developer turns it on, signed-in players can send private feedback from the game's page: a 1 to 5 fun rating, quick tags (Fun, Too hard, Too easy, Controls, Bug, Graphics, Sound, Want more levels) and an optional comment of up to 500 characters. Only the developer and GameFoundry moderators can read it.
It is one-way by design. Developers cannot reply, cannot see who sent a note, and cannot contact players through it. Comments that include contact details (email addresses, links, phone numbers, social handles or invitations to talk on another app) are rejected, and every comment passes our content check.
For developers: open your game's page and use the Player feedback switch. The first time, you confirm you are 16 or older. Feedback arrives in a private inbox per game (Your creations, Feedback) with the average rating and the most-mentioned tags, and you get an email when new feedback arrives (at most one per game per hour). Use Report on any note that breaks the rules; it is hidden and sent to moderators.
For players: you need an account that is at least a day old or has a verified email, and you can send up to three notes per game per day. Your rating counts toward the game's public rating once three or more players have rated it.
Moderators reviewing an update to a published game can also leave feedback on the update. It appears in the developer's inbox labelled as reviewer feedback and does not affect the public rating.
Tip
Tags are often more useful than comments: if "Too hard" keeps coming up, look at your first level before anything else.
