Copyright Policy

Last updated 22 May 2026.

Fracturelabs OÜ ('Fracture Labs') respects intellectual-property rights and expects everyone who uses GameFoundry to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, how to respond if your content was removed, and what happens to users who repeatedly infringe. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Reporting infringing content

If you own a copyright — or are authorized to act for the owner — and you believe content on GameFoundry infringes it, send a notice to [email protected]. We respond to properly submitted notices, and our process follows the principles of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) as well as applicable EU copyright law.

What to include in a notice

So we can act on your report, please include: (1) your name, address and contact details; (2) identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed; (3) identification of the content on GameFoundry you are reporting, with enough detail for us to locate it — such as a link, or the account and tool involved; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; (5) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.

Submitting a knowingly false or misleading notice may make you liable for damages. If you are unsure whether something is actually infringing, consider seeking legal advice before sending a notice.

How we respond

When we receive a complete notice, we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported content and notify the affected user. We may also remove content proactively where we identify clear infringement.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to [email protected]. Please include: identification of the removed content and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and contact details; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice; and your signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original complainant pursues a legal claim.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances we will restrict features, suspend, or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe — or are repeatedly the subject of good-faith infringement notices about — the intellectual-property rights of others.

AI-generated output and uploaded assets

GameFoundry includes AI tools and lets you bring in third-party assets and fonts. AI-generated output is not guaranteed to be original or non-infringing, and you are responsible for the rights to anything you upload or generate — see our Terms of Service. If you believe a GameFoundry tool is being used to infringe your rights, you can report it using the process above.
