Bring your own Anthropic API key (BYOK)
Pay Anthropic directly for your Prompt-to-Browser-Game generations and only pay GameFoundry a 1-credit platform fee per call.
If you already have an Anthropic API account, you can add your key to GameFoundry and have Prompt-to-Browser-Game generations run on your key instead of ours. You get billed by Anthropic directly at their published rates; GameFoundry charges a flat 1-credit platform fee per generation, regardless of the model you pick.
Add your key at /dashboard/api-keys. Keys are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest, never returned through the API, and never logged. You can delete a key any time — the next generation falls back to running on the GameFoundry platform key at normal credit costs.
BYOK is available on the Indie plan and higher. When you tick the "Use my Anthropic key" checkbox on a generation, that's the confirmation that this run will bill your key.
Tip
BYOK is the right choice when you want a specific model (like Claude Opus 5.5) at cost, or when you already pay for a lot of Anthropic usage and want to consolidate billing.
