High Speed Pursuit is a free first-person police chase game you play right in your browser, with no download or install. You're behind the wheel of a stolen red muscle car on the freeways of a neon Los Angeles at midnight, with every unit in the city on your tail. Outrun the LAPD for as long as you can. Drive from a full cockpit view: your hands turn the steering wheel, the dashboard gauges are live, and the rear-view mirror fills with flashing red and blue lights as squad cars close in. Weave through late-night traffic at over 100 mph, chase near misses to charge your nitro, then hit the boost to pull away. Pull the handbrake to drift through tight corners with screeching tyres and tyre smoke billowing behind you in the mirror. The longer you survive, the hotter the chase gets. Your wanted level climbs, more cruisers join the pursuit, and a police helicopter tracks you from above with its searchlight. Ram cops off the road to wreck them, or take too much damage and get boxed in. When you're busted, officers swarm the car with weapons drawn, bang on the glass and smash the windows, and the whole thing plays back as a breaking news report from the GFN 9 Eyewitness News helicopter cam. Features: - Endless car chase driving game set in a night-time LA city - First-person cockpit view with animated hands and a working rear-view mirror - Nitro boost, handbrake drifts, near-miss scoring and cop takedowns - Escalating wanted levels, police roadblocks and a pursuit helicopter - Voiced police dispatch and cop lines, wailing sirens and a roaring engine - Breaking news replay of every bust - Play with keyboard, mouse, Xbox controller or touch on mobile Controls: W or Up to accelerate, S or Down to brake, A/D or Left/Right to steer, Shift for nitro, Space for handbrake.
