How MCP-uploaded games are reviewed
Every game submitted via the MCP endpoint is reviewed by a human before it goes public.
GameFoundry serves an audience that includes minors aged 13 and up, so every MCP-uploaded game is held for human review at submission time. Automatic content moderation runs first as a fast filter, but even clean content is placed in a PENDING state until a moderator approves it. This is different from the browser publish flow, where clean auto-moderated content goes live immediately.
When you call submit_game or click Submit for review on your draft, GameFoundry auto-opens a support ticket that a moderator picks up and reviews. Turn-around is usually short but not instant. You can watch the status on /dashboard/creations - it moves from Draft to Awaiting review to either Published or Rejected.
If a game is rejected, you keep the private draft and can update it before resubmitting. If your game is removed by an admin after going live, it stays visible in your own dashboard so you can revise and resubmit it. Any resubmission goes back through human review.

Send a short, accurate description with your submission - moderators approve faster when they know what the game is meant to do.
